I was only 13 years old when I first started cutting hair at a friend’s house. At that time, it was something I quickly became good at and all of my friends started to get their hair cuts from me. I was always creative and found it to be therapeutic and challenging. As I got older, I started to experiment with color and that’s when it became clear that I was destined to be a Hairdresser!
I knew I wanted to help people and loved the social aspect of it, but going to school for Social Work wasn’t rewarding enough. In 2002, I moved to Boston to pursue my dreams of making it in this industry. Three years later I caught my big break when I was featured in Allure Magazine for Best Long Layer Hair Cut in Boston! After that, my career took off and my personal life did as well. Now I have two beautiful children whom I love the most and are my pride and joy! They are my inspiration for being the best person I can be in life and in my career.
On March 1st, 2019 I opened House of Colour Salon along side Jacqueline Che. As Co-Owners, we put our talents together and years of experience to bring Boston one of the finest salons in the Waterfront Area.
